Covenant Worship Center was founded by Pastor K.R. Woods in 1995 in the city of Berkeley, California. Under the anointed leadership of this great visionary of God, the church has grown at the rate of over 100 members per year and is considered one of the fastest growing churches in the San Francisco East Bay.
Covenant Worship Center has been blessed to establish ministries that extend beyond the walls of church and reach out to communities in the San Francisco Bay Area. These ministries include, the City Help Mobile Free Clinic, the Covenant Word Television Broadcast, the City Help feeding and homeless ministries, and the Nursing Home Visitation Corps, just to name a few.
Pastors K. R. & Andrea Sloan- Woods stand upon the words of Jesus Christ who came not to be ministered unto, but to minister. Under the anointing of God, their commission is to heal the broken hearted, preach deliverance to the captives, and recover sight to the blind. They desire to set at liberty or release those that are bruised and to preach the acceptable year of the Lord. (St Luke 4:18-19)
